- 1 in every 4 women experience physical abuse throughout their lifetime
- 1 in every 7 men experience physical abuse throughout their lifetime
- Approximately 5 million children are exposed to abuse every year
- Most domestic violence cases are never reported to the police 

Strong & Courageous is to bring awareness to domestic violence and to come along-side "survivors" of domestic violence in support from a biblical point of view. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." - Deuteronomy 31:6
