Description
Now that summer is almost over you do not want to stop all your outdoor activity. So, let's keep moving and focused on our fitness goals! The STRIDES 200 Virtual Challenge is being kicked-off August 20th and registration is open through October 17, 2020. Choose your activity: run, walk, bike, swim, exercise ( 30 mins = 1 mile), paddle, row - almost any physical activity as long as you can count your miles. Your 200 miles can be submitted until October 31, 2020. How is that for a Halloween Treat?!
This Challenge benefits Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, which has always been more than just a walk. It’s a movement to bring breast cancer survivors together. We’re asking you to join STRIDES 200 Virtual Challenge to help the fight against breast cancer. Every day, the American Cancer Society helps people take steps to reduce their risk of breast cancer or find it early when it is easiest to treat. They provide free information and services when and where people need it throughout their journey to get well.
Proceeds from your registration will go directly to Martin County's Making Strides. We hope you'll consider signing up for Strides 200.
Each participant who registers will receive a Finisher's Medal and a buff (also known as neck gator). The distribution of these items may be in-person pickup or mailed and will be determined after the Strides Challenge.
You will feel better in more ways than one when you take part in the STRIDES 200 Challenge - you will meet your fitness goals plus help in the fight against breast cancer.
