3RD Annual A1C Christian Bellmore Memorial is Canceled this is no longer an official or organized 5K event

3rd Annual Memorial Run Honoring A1C Christian Bellmore Has been canceled there will still be a memorial 

we will be gathering at the Veterans Memorial Center on
Saturday, June 20th, to honor and remember Christian. We hope you will
join us as we celebrate his life and spend time together with friends
and family.

Samantha Mecke, a Gold Star mother and 18-year active-duty service member in the United States Army, currently serving overseas, is honored to announce the 3rd Annual Memorial Run in memory of her son, Airman First Class Christian Bellmore, who tragically passed away while serving on active duty.

This year’s in-person event will be directed by Christian’s closest friends and will take place in Merritt Island, Florida.

The Memorial Run is dedicated to honoring Airman Bellmore’s legacy while raising awareness of healthcare challenges within the military community, and providing meaningful support and mentorship to first-term service members as they begin their military journey.

In recognition of the support received during this difficult time, 50% of event proceeds will be donated to the Merritt Island Veterans Memorial Center, an organization that has played a significant role in honoring Christian’s memory and supporting his family.

Participants and supporters are invited to join this event to honor Airman Bellmore’s life and service, while contributing to a mission that ensures new service members receive the care, guidance, and mentorship they deserve.

Run Options: 5K or 10K (in-person or virtual)

Virtual Run Date: June 20, 2026
In-Person Location: Merritt Island, Florida

Awards & Participation: Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers, along with additional giveaways for in-person participants.
