MOC 5K Run

Run for Time or Run for Fun! Let’s Run together until we’re done!

Annual MOC 5K Run and Fun Day at Zoo Miami! Come run wild with us at our 2019 MOC 5K race held at Zoo Miami! Our primary goal is to bring awareness to American Heart Month and promote health and fitness to families, parish and community while helping Mother of Christ Athletics. There will be music, bounce houses, finisher medals and the opportunity to enjoy the zoo post-race and family friendly fun for all ages!

Location: Go Run Miami, 11650 North Kendall Drive, Miami, Florida 33176

**Event Day please Go all the way to the right not main zoo entrance!**

5K Race

1. $35 per Adult registered participant       
2. $30 per Student/Youth registered participant

Registered 5K Participants will receive:

• TVThemed race shirt
• Race bib for accurate timing
• Finisher medal
• Opportunity for placement award (if winner)
• Entry to post-race party area
• Entry bracelet to Zoo Miami post race
• Contributing to fund raiser towards our Athletics Department and promoting health and fitness in our school and families.

 2yrs old FREE. Do not get shirt or medal. Granted entry to Zoo Miami post race.   

Medals:

• Finisher medals (everyone who registers for race and finishes it)
• Placement medals:
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place "gun time" (fastest overall male & female from start of race)
• 1st , 2nd, and 3rd place divided by age and gender categories
• <14yrs
• 15-19 yrs
• 20-24 yrs
• 25-29 yrs
• 30-34 yrs
• 35-39 yrs
• 40-44 yrs
• 45-49 yrs
• 50-54 yrs
• 55 plus

Medal presentation will be announced at 9:15am.

Kids Dash ***(Information may vary)"**

$25 per Kids Dash registrant

• 2-3yrs old: 100 meters
• 4-5yrs old: 200 meters
• 6-8yrs old: 300 meters

Registered Participants will receive:

• Themed race shirt
• Finisher medal
• Entry to post-race party area
• Entry bracelet to Zoo Miami post race (Regular entrance to zoo is $18.95+tax for 3-12yrs)
• Contributing to fund raiser towards our Athletics Department and promoting health and fitness in our school and families

Kids Dash race begins at 9:30am after medal presentation (more details to follow)

Every child must have either a registered 5K adult or registered SK Spectator

5K Race Spectator

$20 per registrant

Registered spectators will receive:

• Entry to Fun Day post-race party area
• Entry bracelet to Zoo Miami post race (Regular entrance to zoo is $22.95+tax for>13yrs)

Contributing to fund raiser towards our Athletics Department and promoting health and fitness in our school and families
