The Miami 0.5K Race
Beer•Run•Fun
Feel good about giving. Take some dope pics. Enjoy the swag.
This will be a very casual event that will last 1/10th the distance of the typical 5k.
Have you ever been inspired enough to sign up for a race for a good cause only to deeply regret it about 500 yards into it? And finishing it is nice and all, but you're really just looking forward to that beer and great Instagram pic at the finish line? Well this is the race for you.
Race Details:
Enjoy a complimentary local beer at Veza Sur at registration prior to the start. #instantgratification
Mid-way hydration station stop at Monsieur Poutine.
Finish at The Wynwood Yard to enjoy another beer.
Swag
- IF YOU WANT A T-SHIRT ON RACE DAY - YOU MUST REGISTER PRIOR TO SEPTEMBER 14TH. REGISTRATIONS AFTER THAT DATE WILL NEED TO BE MAILED THEIR SHIRT 2-3 WEEKS AFTER THE EVENT.
- Euro-style 0.5k sticker that you can attach to your rear windshield to show everyone what a badass you are.
- T-shirts of course.
- Participation medals because this is 2018.
- Much, much, much more (as we think of things.)
VIP Option
Don't feel like running? Don't think you can make it the full 546 yards? Then you should be a VIP.
For an additional $30, you don't even have to run! How awesome is that?!
You can head straight to The Wynwood Yard and enjoy en even bigger medal as you wait for the common folk.
Volunteers
Yes, we need them!
There is a link at the top of the website for volunteer information and registration.
Please pass the word to your friends. And we'll gladly put your high schooler to work too!
Please join us for a unique event that promises to be full of fun and fundraising for a promising Team USA Skeleton Slider.

*If for whatever reason you don't want to come to Miami September 29th, you can also participate virtually! Continue with the sign-up process so we know your shirt size and mailing address. It will be up to you to determine your course of 546 yards in your neck of the woods. It'll be an honor system but once it's complete, post to Instagram using #MiamiHalfK. (We know, we know, #MiamiHalfK is not the same as Miami 0.5K but the "." in, 0.5 will mess up the hashtag.)
**This race is a fundraiser for Kelly as she competes with the goal of representing Team USA at the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing, China. Team USA Summer Series: Getting to know Kelly Curtis
