- Registration: at 8am
- Zumba warm - up at 830am
- Walk/Run at 9am
Why We Run: Join us in recognition of Alzheimer's Awareness month and to raise funds supporting the Alzheimer's support group and other Alzheimer's/ Dementia programs at Waterman Village.
Cost: $25.00 per participant. If you are unable to join the fun on November 4th, please consider maxing a tax deductible donation to Waterman Village to support Alzheimer's Awareness.
Additional information: This event is all about fun and is not a test of speed and performance. You can run crawl walk or cartwheel if you wish. the 5k distance is optional.
What to Bring: Eye protection, Umbrella, Sunscreen, and towel.
What NOT to bring: Animals, Smoking materials, Bicycles, roller skates, or motorized vehicles .
Color Stations: Along the race route there will be optional color stations, where you can get covered in colored powder/chalk. Chalk is skin hair and clothing safe; However we suggest you wear items you don't mind getting colorful. Blonde and grey hair may stain for few days. Where headband or wrap if needed. While wheelchairs and walkers are welcome in the 5k, please do not take them into color stations to avoid damage.
Fun Obstacles: There will be a few optional fun obstacles along the way!
Parking: Follow signs for free parking
Waiver: all participants will be required to sign a wavier of release form at registration or prior to race.
