Description

Operation Return To Base's Walk, Run, Ruck Event will help current and former US Military Service Members and First Responders with a goal of raising $25,000 to achieve 4 main initiatives.

#1 Provide $1,000 each to one current or former US Military Service Members, one firefighter, and one law enforcement officer in need.
#2 Create a Financial Assistance Grant to support current and former US Military Service Members and First Responders throughout the year.
#3 Host additional Community Engagement opportunities to continue supporting current and former US Military Service Members and First Responders in the future.
#4 Develop future programs to support mental health and support for current and former US Military Service Members and First Responders.

The event will consist of vendors, US Military Service Member and First Responder highlights, 5k Ruck, 5k Run, 2.5K Ruck, 2.5K Run, and a 2k Walk hosted from 8:30am – 4:30pm at Baker Park on October 4, 2025.
