Description
The 9th Annual Michele Hill Raider Run and Community Family Celebration will be held April 04, 2015, 7:30 AM at Navarre Youth Sports Association, in Navarre, Florida. Jones and Company out of Destin Florida will perform a free concert after the race. Creative Catering by Mark Whittlesay will be serving the best Post Race Meal in the Area.
DJ Daryl Wilson will be providing finish line Music. As always there will be many prizes to raffle at no additional charge to the race participants.
The proceeds from the Michele Hill Raider Run are used to award $ 1000.00 scholarships to High School Seniors from Escambia, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Walton County Florida, and Baldwin and Escambia County Alabama. We awarded $23,000.00 in Scholarships to High School Seniors on Race Day in 2014.
The race is an out and back 5K run/walk through Navarre residential neighborhoods. The 5K course is fast, flat with minimum curves and no inclines and has two straight aways approximately .75 miles long each. The route is paved and will be clearly marked with signs. A great route for runners, walkers, and baby jogger participants. The 1 mile kids run free. This is a great race the entire family can enjoy.
