The Chasco Main Street Mile is an exciting 1 mile race run 15 minutes before the Chasco Fiesta Parade. You will run in front of thousands spectators!
This time-honored tradition allows visitors to witness a traditional Native American festival, a boat parade, and a street parade. Other Chasco activities include, the Coronation Ball, an award winning beef barbecue, nightly concerts in the park, a carnival including a midway and rides, golf & softball tournaments, flea market & arts and crafts village, as well a 5K race.
Each Main Street Mile Finisher will receive a custom Main Street Mile.
The first person in each category that breaks the current record will win $100.00. If the winner is in school, a donation will be made to the athletic department to maintain amateur status. Please visit www.chascomsm.com for current course records and categories.
Each participant that registers on or before March 1, 2016 will be guaranteed the Chasco Main Street Mile t-shirt. All other participants that register after the date will take the chance of not receiving the shirt size of choice or receiving a shirt.
Staging for the Chasco Main Street Mile will be at The Schwettman Education Center. The actual start of the race is approx. 1/4 mile North on Grand Blvd. Due to road closers, make sure that you are at the Staging Location no later than 12:00.
