Surfari Club Horse head Race

On April 15th the NSB Surfari Club will be hosting a family-fun Pro Surf Contest at the inlet with a 500 yard horse head race down the beach.  What is a horse-head race you ask? It's a running race down the beach with a horse mask over your head of course! There are two divisions and there are cash prizes for 1st Place man and 1st Place woman! With your $50 sign-up fee, runners will receive an entry to the race, a horse head, and a pass to the Landshark garden with 3 beer tickets.  

Here are the details:

Where: New Smyrna Beach Inlet (on the beach down near the jetties) 

Who: Anyone who enjoys running and wants to win some $$$

When: April 15th at noon but get to the beach early so you can get a good parking spot

          *We want this to be a fun, bring your family to the beach, kind of day!

1st place: $250

2nd place: $150

3rd place: $100
