Description
“All The Places You Can Go” Fund Run
Each May, Better Hearing & Speech Month (BHSM) provides an opportunity to raise awareness about communication disorders and role of ASHA members in providing life-altering treatment.
This “Fund Run” is being held to help us raise funds to purchase tickets to send children & adults with communication disorders to a Sacramento River Cats baseball game with their families.
The inspiration for this fund run comes from Dr. Seuss’ “Oh, the Place You’ll Go.”

You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You’re on your own. And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who’ll decide where to go.
Running takes us places and we can go places in life even with a communication disorder!
The virtual run can be completed on your terms – run, walk, even ride your bicycle. Your participation helps people with communication disorders spend time with their families in the fun setting of a minor league baseball game. There is no timeframe or requirement to report your run. The registration fee is $35 and all participants will receive the cool medal pictured on the event page at Blingrunners.
