Description
The Run with the Rangers 5K is a fund raiser for Burn's Science and Technology Public Charter School located in the community of Oak Hill, Florida. This fundraiser will benefit Burns Sci Tech's new playground. It's one of the most scenic runs in Volusia County! The race begins at Burns Sci Tech. Run or walk through the Oak Hill community down to the Seminole Rest Historic Site along the Indian River Lagoon. All ages are welcome.
For children not participating in the 5K there is a Jr Ranger Fun Run located at the school. Activity tables will be set up for the family to enjoy there as well. Children participating in the fun run can sign up for free.
Schedule
- 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM - Race sign in and day of registration
- 8:00 AM - 5K Race begins Run/Walk
- 8:00 AM - Jr Ranger Fun Run begins
- 9:00- 10:00 AM - Awards Ceremony and Refreshments
