Leap Year Challenge

Join the Leap Year Challenge presented by The Running Elements!

2024 is a Leap Year! To celebrate this, The Running Elements is offering a new experience and challenge to the community. Let's see how many miles we can log this year. Register and start tracking your miles on Strava (download the Strava app and join our Leap Year Challenge group). Also check out our Facebook group at "Leap Year Challenge" to stay connected with others doing the challenge (links provided below).

3 distance options to choose from (run, walk, or hike):

Leap Frog Challenge 122 Miles (perfect for beginners or walkers/hikers wanting to get involved in this fun challenge)

Leap of Faith 366 Miles (this is just 1 mile per day!)

Quantum Leap Challenge 1098 Miles (3 miles a day sure does add up!)

Each participant will pick up a shirt at The Running Elements in either Downtown Ocala or Daytona Beach (select Ocala or Daytona Beach locations during registration process. Items cannot be mailed.) Shirts will be ready for pickup starting on February 29th Leap Day!!!

Plus Sign up by Leap Day Feb 29th and be entered into a raffle to win a free pair of shoes!* Need not be present to win. Winner will be announced on Facebook.

And last but not least, if you're looking for folks to log some miles with, stop by The Running Elements in Downtown Ocala on Tuesday evenings at 6pm (or The Running Elements in Daytona Beach on Wednesdays at 6pm) for Run Club--everyone is welcome--walk, run and let's have some fun in 2024!
