Pink Ribbon Symposium Survivors Celebration 5K Run/Walk

Proceeds from this race benefit Pink Ribbon Symposium Survivors.  

The Mission of the annual Pink Ribbon Symposium, a non-profit organization organized in 2008, is dedicated to educating the Northeast Florida community on recent advances and related topics in the detection, treatment and survivorship of breast cancer patients as well as the understanding of the imporance of healthy lifestyle choices.

Registration costs are listed below and do not include the online processing fee, which is based on the total amount at checkout, and will be added to the total at checkout.

5km Race Registration Costs

$20.00 - Through April 30, 2015

$25.00 - May 1, 2015 through June 4, 2015 - 4:00pm

$35.00 - Day of Race - Cash or Check Only

1 Mile Survivors Walk Costs

$8.00 - 1 Mile Surviors Walk - through June 4 at 4:00pm online and day of race.

5K Participants can participate in Survivor's Walk complimentary.

Awards will be given to the top three males and females in the following categories, 

Top 3 Male & Female Overall Finishers 
Top Male & Female Masters (Over 40) Finisher
Top Three finishers in each of the following age groups:  10 & under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60  & over.  

Commemorative t-shirts will be given out to all pre-registered entrants first.  All entrants registered on the day of the race will receive t-shirts as supplies last.

The race starts at 8:00am at the Orange Park Kennel Club, travel south on River Road along the banks of the St. Johns River to Kingsley Ave, then return back to the Kennel Club

90 minutes to 15 minutes prior to the start of the race - Bib, Chip, and Packet Pickup

90 minutes to 30 minutes prior to the start of the race - Day of Race Registration Open

30 minutes after last finisher - Awards Ceremony

8:00 AM - 5K Race Start

8:00 AM - 1 Mile Start

 

PRE-RACE PACKET PICKUP

Pre-Race packet pickup will be available on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at the Orange Park Cancer Center, 2161 Kingley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073.

DAY OF RACE PACKET PICKUP

Packet pickup will also be available at the race start line from 6:30am to 7:45am on the day of the race.

The race will be chip timed using a shoe chip system.   Chips will be distributed at the packet pickup.   All runners must cross the mat at the finish line with their chip properly attached to their shoe to score in the race.  Chips must be returned at the conclusion of the race at the finish line.   Runners not returning chips will be charged a fee of $30.
