Description

Hope and Help Center of Central Florida, Inc. (Hope & Help) presents AIDS WALK ORLANDO: CELEBRITY on Saturday, February 3rd at 5:00pm at the Disney Amphitheater at Lake Eola Park in Downtown Orlando. AIDS WALK is an Orlando staple that promotes HIV education and free testing opportunities in a fun-filled, family atmosphere.
This year’s “Celebrity” theme encourages walkers to dress up like their favorite celebrity or their celebrity look-a-like. Well over 1,000 walkers are expected to attend AIDS WALK, enjoying festivities, like the kid’s zone with face-painting and bounce houses, food trucks, specialty drinks sponsored by Tito’s Vodka, and a dance party.
Orlando has the 6th highest HIV/AIDS transmission rate in the nation and Florida is ranked 1st in new HIV and AIDS cases. Hope & Help plans to use the funds raised to prevent new HIV infections through its free HIV testing, education, and care services.
Registration is just $25 per walker, whether walking as an individual or on a team, and includes a free AIDS WALK ORLANDO: CELEBRITY t-shirt and wristband. To register to walk, become a sponsor/vendor, donate, or for more information, visit: www.AIDSWALKORLANDO.org or call 407-645-2577, extension 110.
