Third Annual Arts + Heart 5k

Hebni Nutrition presents the 3rd annual Arts and Heart 5k and Community Health Fair! 

Hebni Nutrition Consultants, Inc. (Hebni) is a community based, non-profit (501 (c)(3)) agency formed in 1995 to educate high-risk, culturally diverse populations about nutrition strategies to prevent diet-related diseases. In their early beginnings, the Partners of Hebni developed intervention programs and educational tools such as the “Soul Food Pyramid” and “Sisters: Take Charge of Your Health” which address populations, who are at high risk for poor health outcomes. Hebni’s programs serve populations who may be at-risk for cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes and obesity.

Join us for a vibrant day of wellness and community at Lake Lorna Doone on April 19th! Our 5k run and health fair will bring the neighborhood together in a celebration of well-being, sponsored by the Florida Department of Health!

We offer a dynamic 5k experience, where you have the option to get chip-timed and scored for just $15. The 5k and the delightful Free Fun Run will take place from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, offering a fantastic way to start your day.

While you're conquering the 5k, our vibrant community health fair will be in full swing, welcoming spectators and featuring a diverse array of vendors, including talented artisans and valuable resources dedicated to enhancing overall health and wellness.

From healthcare providers to local organizations advocating for healthy living, our event offers a rich tapestry of community resources to explore.

Step into the artisan marketplace, where you'll discover a treasure trove of handcrafted goods, each purchase supporting our local artisans.

Families are encouraged to join in on the fun, as we've created a dedicated kid zone filled with games and activities to keep the little ones entertained.
