CURRENT DISCOUNT CODES:
We invite our Special Athletes to participate in their own division at a discounted rate of $15 by using code SPECIALATHLETE15 . By requesting the "Special Athlete" category, I hereby confirm and attest that the participant has a diagnosed medical condition that qualifies them to compete in this category. This includes, but is not limited to, Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, or other documented intellectual, developmental, or medical disabilities. I acknowledge that this selection is made in good faith, and I understand that providing false or misleading information may result in disqualification or other appropriate actions as determined by the event organizers. Caregivers or anyone running with a Special Athlete may use code CAREGIVER30 to reduce cost to $30
Overview:
Put on your cape and become a hero for families in need at the Superhero 5k! This exciting event encourages participants to dress up as their favorite superheroes while running or walking through the scenic UCF campus. Join us for a fun-filled day that combines fitness, community spirit, and support for a great cause!
Cause:
All proceeds from the Superhero 5k will benefit the Abilities Workshop and their "LoveABLE" program, which provides essential support to special needs families facing crises. Your participation will directly contribute to making a positive impact in our community.
Event Details:
Be a hero in the lives of special needs families by participating in the Superhero 5K! Participants are encouraged to wear superhero costumes to promote a sense of fun and camaraderie while raising awareness for special needs families. Alongside the 5K run, enjoy family-friendly activities, entertainment, and opportunities to connect with other community members. Register now to secure your spot; all participants receive a race t-shirt and a finisher's medal. Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, your involvement makes a difference. Together, we can foster compassion and support for those in our community who need it most.
