Description
Get ready to lace up your sneakers and join us for an exciting day of fitness, fun, and community spirit at the Potato LEAF 5K Fun Run at Potato Expo 2025! Whether you're an avid runner, a casual walker, or just looking for a great way to enjoy the outdoors, this event is perfect for everyone.
Potato LEAF (Potato Leadership, Education, and Advancement Foundation) is gathering friends and colleagues from the industry to join us in Orland for the Potato LEAF 5k Fun Run. Runners and walkers will enjoy a 3.1-mile course around the Hawk's Landing golf course at the Orlando World Center Marriott while supporting our efforts at growing people who grow potatoes. The fundraising event will feature a t-shirt, a light breakfast with coffee, and guaranteed fun.
Proceeds from all registration fees and individual donations will benefit Potato LEAF.
On-Site Details
Here are some key details for you when you get to the Orlando World Marriott Center.
Check-in
You will be able to check-in for the Fun Run in the Cypress 1 Alcove, next to Potato Expo Registration. Look for the TEAM POTATO Tent!
• Wednesday, Jan. 8 between 12-6pm
• Thursday, Jan. 9 between 7:30am-6:30pm
Fun Run Location and Start Time
• Starting gun will sound at 7:00am, Friday, Jan. 10. Please arrive by 6:45am.
• The start and finish lines are at the Fairway Terrace. The easiest way to get there is to exit the hotel by the doors next to the Central Pantry (level 1), take a right and follow the path to the Fairway Terrace.
Refreshments
Coffee will be available beginning at 6:30am. There will be a water station set up around the 2-mile marker. At the finish line we will have bottled water, coffee and additional refreshments.
Weather
Be sure to check the weather forecast as you pack to have adequate layers of clothing. Mornings in Orlando can be brisk.
Registration Rates
Through November 1 - $65 per adult, $40 per child (under 18)
After November 1 - $80 per adult, $50 per child (under 18)
