Description
The mission of The Keri Anne DeMott Foundation is to reduce traffic incidents by implementing prevention and intervention programs that assist the community and increase traffic education, while also emphasizing personal accountability for the decisions made in daily lives and relationships.
The Keri Anne DeMott Foundation was started by the DeMott family in 2016 to honor Keri's memory and to share her story with the primary goal of one day ending drunk, impaired, and distracted driving. As the foundation has grown the DeMott's have realized that every decision we make in life matters, not just the ones we make while behind the wheel. Whether it's at school, work, home, church, or anywhere else in between, we all face decisions on a daily basis that will shape who we are and affect every single person we come into contact with.
The foundation hosts this annual run each fall in order to raise funds and support our goals. This year we once again host a timed 5k and 10k and provide awards for the top male and female runners in each category. We are also bringing back the First Responders Cup, awarded to the largest registered department! Once again, only the first 100 registered runners will be guaranteed a race medal, so don't wait to sign up!
We hope that you join us for what we're certain will be a fabulous time.
Day-of Timeline:
6:30 AM: On-site race packet pick up and registration
7:10 AM: Opening Ceremonies
7:30 AM: Run Start Time
Around 10:00 AM: After all runners return we will have an awards ceremony to honor the top runners for each category and award the First Responders Cup!
Then hang around for some community fun!
