The Keri Anne DeMott Foundation was created after a drunk driver took the life of 20-year-old Keri in 2015. The foundation's goal is to put an end to drunk, distracted, and impaired driving in hopes that no other families will have to suffer the loss the DeMott family has endured because of another's selfish decisions.
The foundation hosts this annual awareness run each fall in order to raise funds and support our goals. This year we once again host a timed 5k and 10k and provide awards for the top male and female runners in each category. We are also bringing back the First Responders Cup, awarded to the largest registered department! Once again, only the first 100 registered runners will be guaranteed a race medal, so don't wait to sign up!
We hope that you join us for what we're certain will be a fabulous time.
Day-of Timeline:
6:30 AM: On-site race packet pick up and registration
7:10 AM: Opening Ceremonies
7:30 AM: Run Start Time
Around 10:00 AM: After all runners return we will have an awards ceremony to honor the top runners for each category and award the First Responders Cup!
Then hang around for some community fun!
