Trefoil Cookie Chase 5K Fun Run/Walk - Join Girl Scouts of Citrus for our 3rd Annual Trefoil Cookie Chase 5K Fun Run/Walk in support of our mission and Giving Investments for Tomorrow's Girls (GIFTS for girls).

Through programs across Central Florida, Girl Scouts of Citrus helps girls with all backgrounds and abilities to be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them.
Enjoy beautiful Lake Baldwin at the pace of your choice on Saturday, March15, 2025, at Harbor Park located at Lake Baldwin in Orlando, Florida. Participants will gather at Harbor Park and the 3.1 mile course will take runners, walkers, and strollers on an out and back course along the trail.
All proceeds from the event will support the Girl Scouts of Citrus GIFTS for Girls campaign—where it gives EVERY girl, no matter the circumstance, the opportunity to be a Girl Scout.

RACE T-SHIRTS:
All participants who register for the 5K event will receive a unisex cotton t-shirt. Sizes are guaranteed through February 22 , 2025.
FINISHER MEDALS:
All PAID 5K Fun Run participants will receive a custom Trefoil Cookie Chase 5K Fun Run/Walk themed finisher medal. Children participating in the FREE Kid’s dashes will receive a finisher ribbon.
5K FUN RUN AWARDS:
Awards will go to the top 3 overall male and female finishers in the 5K Fun Run/Walk. This is not an electronically scored event. You can see you finishing time as you cross the finish line and view the clock.
FREE KIDS DASHES:
We will host a free kids’ dashes following the 5k event. All children ages 7 & under must be registered on race day at the Registration table. All children participating must be accompanied by an adult and will receive a Finisher Ribbon and special awards for the top girl and boy finishers in each dash distance. Distances will vary by age group, ranging from 50 yards up to 200 yards.
WEATHER:
Races will be held rain or shine, however, if there is severe weather in the area the race start may be delayed or cancelled. As a reminder, registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
SAFETY RULES:
In order to ensure safety of all runners, roller skates and in-line skates are prohibited from the race course. It is VERY important for you to stay alert throughout the race, stay inside cones and obey all race signage. Jogging strollers are permitted but must start in the back.
STROLLERS:
Strollers are allowed. Nurturing future generations of runners/walkers is a priority as is demonstrating healthy lifestyles to our children. We do ask those registrants participating with a stroller to line up after the runners & walkers at the start line. Please listen for directions on where to line up on the day of the race. Only paid registrants of the 5K Fun Run/Walk will receive a finisher medal. If you would like your child to receive a medal, please register for them to participate in the Run/Walk.
PACKET PICKUP INFORMATION:
Early Packet Pickup will take place on Thursday, March 13th from 4pm - 8pm or on Friday, March 14th from 10am - 2pm at the Girl Scouts of Citrus office located at 341 N Mills Ave, Orlando, FL 32803.
Race Day Packet Pickup will take place at Harbor Park @ Lake Baldwin Park on Race Day beginning at 6:30 am. However, please do allow additional time to pick up your packet on race day due to parking and potentially long lines.
