Due to uncertainty surrounding the spread of COVID-19 and out of an abundance of caution to keep our youth, staff, and volunteers safe, we have decided to cancel our 5K this year. We hope to hold the event again in the future. We apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment. Any previous registrations will be held and honored when we can safely hold the event again.

Description
This is the second annual Friends 5K Trail Run/Walk to benefit Friends of Children and Families. This year we are doing a Trick or Treat theme. This event will be super family friendly with games, candy, a free kid's run, and a costume contest!

REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 7:30:00AM
RACE BEGINS AT 8:00AM
Registration: (all registration is non-refundable and non-transferable)
$30 May 25 through August 31
$35 September 1 through October 10th
$40 Day of Race
T-shirts:
The first 200 pre-registered participants are guaranteed a special event day t-shirt. All shirt sizes are unisex. Shirt sizes not guaranteed for day of race registrants.
Finisher Medal!
The first 150 finishers are guaranteed to receive a custom collector's finisher medal!
(please note, medals will not be mailed out following the event for participants unable to attend)
Restrictions
For Safety reasons strollers, skates, bicycles, pets, and any form of motorized cart will not be allowed on the race course as it is a Trail Run and doesn't not take place on paved surfaces.

Friends of Children and Families’(FCF) mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for at-risk children and their families, and give them the opportunity to develop into well-adjusted and productive members of society.
Friends of Children and Families serves our community in the following ways:
-Care for 30 young people ages 12-18 in our 5 Residential Group Homes
-Provide counseling services for children and families
-Provide mentoring services for youth in foster care
-Provide a 24/7 Mobile Response Unit to support families in crisis
