EVENT
Oviedo Recreation and Parks is proud to host the Jingle Bell 5K, as part of the City of Oviedo's 12 Days of Christmas!  Walkers, runners, and strollers are welcome!

The 5K Fun Run is a fun, family run 5K that will begin at Center Lake Park.  The course will take you up and down Oviedo Blvd with a small portion on the Cross Seminole Trail.  This 5K will be "gun time", not chip timed.  

ENTRY
November 8th - December 15th - Adults ($20.00) - Youth  ($15.00)

Race Day (December 19th) - Adults ($25.00)  - Youth ($20.00)

PRE-RACE PACKET PICK UP
Packet pickup will take place on Thursday, December 16th (5p-8p) and Friday, December 17th (12p-7p) at the Oviedo Gym and Aquatic Facility (148 Oviedo Blvd).

DAY OF REGISTRATION & PACKET PICK UP
Day of registration and packet pickup will take place at the race site (Center Lake Park) from 6:45 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.

DAY OF EVENT SCHEDULE
6:45 a.m.- 7:45 a.m. – Registration and Packet Pick-up Opens
8:00 a.m. – Race Start

TEE SHIRTS
Tee-Shirts are guaranteed for all pre-registered participants. Shirt size not guaranteed for registrations received after December 1st.  Shirts not guaranteed on race day.

PARKING
Parking is available inside of Center Lake Park. If parking is full, additional parking will be available at Oviedo Blvd. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early as Oviedo Blvd will be closed for traffic once the 5K begins.

When and where does the race take place?
Sunday, December 19th, 2021. The race takes place at Center Lake Park.

How long is the course?
The 5K is 3.1 miles.

Can I participate with a stroller?
Yes, nurturing future generations of runners is a priority and demonstrating healthy lifestyles to our kids is special. Please, however, start in the later part of the runners.

Should I bring my own water?
Yes, but a water station is available on the course and after the race. 

I will be out of town on race day and unable to participate. Can I get my money returned?
We appreciate your race registration. We are unable to issue refunds. We are not in a position to credit your credit card or issue checks.

Will the race be held if it's raining?
The race is a "rain or shine" event. All participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather, such as in a rain coat or hat. Umbrellas can pose a safety hazard to others, so please do not bring them.

Can I transfer my entry to someone else?
We have a strict NO TRANSFER policy.
