Description

About the Race2Cure:

The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation (FBCF) Race 2 Cure presented by FFVA Mutual and FBCF Tribute Walk are held to raise funds for cancer research. This event is organized by the Orlando Sports Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to bringing teams together to find a cure for cancer.

The FBCF Race 2 Cure 5K offers several options for 2025! Participants can run or walk the 5k in-person on race day or run on their own time virtually! The race also offers a Tribute Walk presented by the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation to honor those who have passed and currently fighting cancer.

This year, the we are also debuting the Kids Fun Run presented by Nemours Children's Hospital. Kids 12 and under can register for this 1-mile run at no cost. All Kids Fun Run participants will receive a runner t-shirt, timed bib, and finisher medal just like the 5k participants!

Be a part of our team as we welcome runners, walkers and cancer survivors to participate in a memorable event!

Our Mission - Finding a Cure for Cancer:

The Orlando Sports Foundation is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to raising funding and awareness for cancer research. Our mission is to bring teams together to find a cure for cancer.

The Cure Bowl is the signature event put on by the Orlando Sports Foundation. The college football bowl game is played on the third Saturday each December at Exploria Stadium. It has been used as a platform to raise funds for cancer research. Since 2015, over $4.3 million has been raised for cancer research. Those funds have been distributed internationally, which includes nearly $1.6 million to local researcher Dr. Annette Khaled at the UCF College of Medicine. Thanks to you all, we have gotten to witness the money we have raised be used locally. Thank you to all of our participants and partners who have made this happen in the past and present.
