Shamrock Shimmy 5k

It's time to get your green on and run to help end childhood hunger. The 2025 Shamrock Shimmy 5k is coming Saturday, March 8, 2025, to Pop Stansell Park in Palm Harbor.  There will be a timed 5k and a 1-mile fun run.  All participants will receive a festive finisher’s medal and a T-shirt. The first couple hundred participants to register will receive shamrock headbands to shimmy down the trail! Remember, the true treasure is helping Pack-A-Sack as we run to end childhood hunger.

Every racer will receive a short-sleeve t-shirt (Shirts and sizes are guaranteed if preregistered before February 17, 2025. After this date, shirts will be available while supplies last!), bib, a themed custom finisher medal, as well as a rockin' good time with friends and family members!!

The night before make sure to carb up and join us for a $10 all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner! This dinner will be held at Palm Harbor United Methodist Church (1551 Belcher Road, Palm Harbor, FL 34683).

Shamrock Shimmy 5k  will be supporting Pack A Sack. Pack A Sack is a program that provides weekend food for students in Title 1 Schools to help them have additional food over the weekend. The true treasure of the Shamrock Shimmy is running so that no child goes hungry!

You can participate in person or virtually.  Age group and overall awards will be awarded.
