Description
The second annual Meadow Park Elementary School Gritty Gator 5K will take place on December 9, 2017. Proceeds from this event will go toward promotion of wellness for MPE students. Our long-term goal is to build a track for students at our school.
Race Details:
The MPE Gritty Gator 5K Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, December 9, 2017. The 5K run/walk will start at 8:00 a.m. on the bus loop behind Meadow Park Elementary School at 750 Essex Ave., Port Charlotte, FL. The race is an open course loop that runs through the immediate community area around Meadow Park Elementary.
Awards will be given for Best Overall, Youth, Masters, Grand & Senior Masters, Veteran Masters, and top 3 male/female in each age group. Age groups are as follows: adults--5 year age groups; kids--8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, and 15-19.
Early registration through November 17th is $20 per person. Family rate through November 17th is $75 for up to 2 adults and 3 children in the same household. Registration from November 18th through December 8th is $25. Race Day registration is $30.
Runners and walkers of ALL abilities are welcome!
