WELCOME TO THE SECOND ANNUAL OVERDOSE AWARENESS RACE!

Join us for an unforgettable day as we come together to raise awareness about overdose deaths, centered around this year’s theme for International Overdose Awareness Day: One Big Family Driven by Hope!

Get ready for:
- An exhilarating 5K run and a heartfelt 1-mile remembrance walk to honor those we've lost!
- Exciting Raffles with amazing prizes!
- A Live DJ spinning great tunes!
- Informational booths with valuable resources on overdose prevention!
- Narcan for every participant crossing the finish line to help save lives!

We encourage everyone to submit photos of their angels who have been lost to this epidemic. These photos will be displayed on the day of the race as we honor their memories during our special remembrance walk.

In loving memory of Kelly Pierce Peterson, whose life was taken too soon, we honor her by advocating for change and support in our communities.

Together, let’s impact lives and create a brighter future. We look forward to sharing this meaningful day with you as we celebrate love, remembrance, and hope. You won’t want to miss!

“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you.” Philippians 1:3 KJV
Did you know that Naloxone (Narcan- generic name) is a life-saving medication that can reverse an overdose from opioids – including heroin, fentanyl, and prescription opioid medication – when given in-time? In 2023, Naloxone was administered 51,752 times in the state of Florida!
This medication is a critical tool for reversing opioid overdoses and saving lives!
Awareness and education plays a crucial role in addressing the ongoing opioid crisis and promoting public health and safety !
