Gadsden County Bicentennial 5K Run/Walk

The Gadsden County Bicentennial 5K Run/Walk is a free community event being hosted by the Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners and the Gadsden County Bicentennial Committee. The event will take place on Saturday, September 2, 2023 and the run/walk starts at 8 a.m. with on-site registration beginning at 7 a.m. The course is in downtown Quincy and the main route is on King Street, which is a couple of blocks north of Jefferson Street / U.S. 90. The mainly straight, flat course provides participants with a great chance to run (race or jog) or walk (speed or stroll). Volunteers for this race will be abundant and enthusiastic. Extended: Run/Walk t-shirts will be available with free online registrations completed by Wednesday, August 23, 2023.

This race is not officially timed. There will be a race clock at the finish line and participants are free to capture their own time.

Packet Pickup and Early On-site Registration will take place on Thursday, August 31 between 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. and Friday, September 1 between 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Gadsden County Administration Building, Edward J. Butler Governmental Complex, 9-B E. Jefferson Street, Quincy, FL 32351.

Race Day On-site Registration will take place on Saturday, September 2 at 7 a.m. at the Gadsden County Courthouse Square, on the corner of N. Adams Street and Washington Street. The Gadsden County Courthouse is located at 10 E. Jefferson Street, Quincy, FL 32351.
