9th Annual Turkey Day 5K in Sanford, Florida.  This is a holiday fun run for the entire family to come run or walk and have a great time!

New for 2018 - Turkey Day 5K Costume Contest:
Cash prize for the best Thanksgiving costume.  Secret judges will select the top five costumes.  10 minutes prior to the start of the race, the five finalist will be announced.  The winner will be determined by the loudest cheer from the runners in the starting corral.  The winner will receive a $100 Visa Gift Card.

Early Registration: (all registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable)

Youth Registration:(ages 14 and Under)

Timing and Scoring:
This event is a holiday fun run.  ONLY top 10 men and top 10 women will be scored and receive awards.  There will be NO electronic timing or scoring of participants.  To get your time participants need to look at the finish time clock as they cross the finish line.

Pre Race Packet Pick Up
Pre event packet pick up will be Tuesday, November 20th from 4pm to 7pm, and Wednesday, November 21st from 1pm to 7pm at Academy Sports and Outdoors in Lake Mary.  If you are not able to make it to pick up early, you may have a friend or family member pick up for you.  No I.D. required.  Also, we will have your pack available for pick up the morning of the event at the event site starting at 7am.

Everyone is Welcome:
This is an event for ALL levels to participate.  Runners, Walkers, and strollers and baby joggers are all welcome.

Event Beneficiary:
This event will benefit the Christian Sharing Center.  The Sharing Center provides basic and essential needs during times of financial crisis.  We ask ALL participants on race morning to bring some non perishable food to help stock their food pantry and feed those in need.

Course Map and Parking

*** Please note:  The walk from the parking lot areas to the start line can take up to 10 minutes.  ***

All streets marked with "RED" are closed for this event.  The best way to get to the parking areas is to travel on 3rd Street from 17-92.  Once you reach Palmetto, turn left towards the parking areas.  Law enforcement and Citizens on Patrol will be at 1st Street to guide you to the parking areas shown on the attached map.  Follow the "BLUE" line for the quickest way to the parking areas.
