Please join the SRHS Football & Cheer Teams & SRGA for our 3rd Annual Fintastic Virtual 5K. All participants who submit their run information will receive an exclusive finisher medal and t-shirt. It’s events like these that allow the football & cheer teams to attend outside training camps and tournaments,
purchase new equipment, uniforms, and other necessities. In the last 2 years, SRGA was able to award four $500 scholarships and two $1,000 scholarships to players, because of the support within the Community. These hard working athletes are why we gather on Friday nights, and why we continue to push all year long. Thank you for your support Shark Nation!!
HOW TO RUN A VIRTUAL 5K
A virtual race is designed to be 'raced' from ANY LOCATION at ANY TIME and is a great way to support the SRHS Football & Cheer Teams!! You can run, jog or walk through streets, parks, or trails in your neighborhood, community, or even on your treadmill. Map out your 5K route and that will be your course! Get out during the event time frame (from March 11th through March18th) and participate in your race. Choose a safe course and have some fun! Upon completion of your virtual 5K, don't forget to submit your virtual results here between March 11th through March 25th: Fintastic Virtual 5K Results. How Does it Work?
1) Complete your registration.
2) Plan your 5K route.
3) Run or Walk the Fintastic Virtual 5K anytime after you register .... just be sure to complete your race by March 18th, 2023 by 11:59 PM EST.
4) Track your race by downloading your favorite wearable tracker. Upload your results here: VIRTUAL RESULTS
5) READY, SET, RACE!
6) Share your race: Post photos of you racing.
Open Track Night - Sunday, March 12th from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Sebastian River High School
Participants will be allowed to use the track to complete their race. This is NOT an organized/timed event. You will need to bring your own water and tracker/timer, and submit your virtual race results online once completed.
