HILDERVAT was born out of the absolute love and obsession of obstacle course racing. As one of the fastest growing sports, OCR is making athletes around the globe feel like victorious warriors. Kids and Family Race
Hildervat Kids and Family Race. Bring your Jr. Vikings and introduce them to the world of obstacle course racing with this specialty course designed for kids - ages 4 and up. Obstacles are specially designed with kids in mind, however, parents are highly encouraged to run the course with smaller/younger children. These obstacles will be challenging for your 9-14 year old to complete on his/her own. Ages 4-9 year will need assistance from their parents on some of the obstacles.
*Course is spectator friendly and fully visible at all times
*1/2 mile loop (participants can run it once or twice.)
*Heats of approximately 50 participants every 15 minutes starting at 8:00 am
*Approximately 8-10 obstacles per loop.
*Types of obstacles include but not limited to: hurdles, monkey bars, cargo nets, rings and carries.
*All participants will receive a finisher medal and t-shirt
*All participants must be registered before entering the course including parents who are assisting children
*Festival Area with food trucks and sponsor tables
*Fun family day!
Anyone who is on the course, running or assisting must be registered - $30/person or $150/family of 3 to 5 persons. (discount applied at checkout)

Multi person / Family Price discount: Families up to 5 can register for a total fee of $150
Youth Pricing: Any youth up to 12 years old will receive discounted pricing: $40 through April 28, $50 till May 23, $60 Race Day 5/23 & 5/24

Top 3 teams will also be awarded. A team time will be calculated using the top 3 fastest runners on the team. At least 1 times must come from female team members. There is no limit to the number of runners that can be on a team, but only the top times will be used in the calculation.
Youth Awards
The youth race will also feature Over All awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place M&F, along with age groups 6&Under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12
