Fleet Feet Stuart Virtual Boomerang 5K

Past races of Fleet Feet Stuart are coming back around like a boomerang!  

We have been busy reorganizing and cleaning out the bins and storage here at Fleet Feet Stuart during the COVID-19 pandemic.  It is amazing what kind of storage shed treasures one can find.  We came across past race medals and awards from Run for Your Heart and The Furnace that go back as far as 2016!  What should we do with these?  Well we should have a virtual 5k race of course and give participants a past race medal and maybe some other random surprises for the finishers.

In case you missed participating in one of Fleet Feet Stuart's past Run for Your Heart or The Furnace.  Now is your chance to run with us virtually and earn that medal from the past.

The Rules:

1. Complete your 5K (3.1 miles) run or walk between May 8 - May 31. 
2. Print your personal race bib once you are registered for the Fleet Feet Stuart Virtual Boomerang 5K.  Race bibs can be printed through runsignup.com.
3. Choose a day between May 8 - May 31 to run or walk your virtual 5K race from anywhere you would like.  Strollers and dogs are welcome. 
4. Submit your results when you complete your race on runsignup.com .  Deadline to submit is Monday, June 1, 2020.  Submitting your own results will be on the honor system.

Once you have submitted your time results, then you will be notified by Fleet Feet Stuart of how to receive your winning vintage medal/award.  It will be a surprise....it could be a Run for Your Heart medal from the years of 2016 - 2020 or The Furnace medal from the years of 2016 - 2019.  It will be a random medal/award for completing your race plus an additional surprise treasure.
