What: Beginner's running group. To prepare the beginning or returning runner to complete a 5K (3.1 miles), either using a run-walk-run method or by continuous running. We'll start with 1-mile on September 25th, and gradually increase the goal distance each week.
When: Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM, September 25 - November 13, 2019
Who: Everyone is welcome! We'll have groups for brand new runners (can walk 1 mile or more) and advanced runners (can run 1-mile or more).
Note- Participants under age 14 must be accompanied on all runs by an adult.
Where: Mike Long Track (FSU Track), corner of Spirit Way & Chieftan Way, part of the McIntosh Track & Field facility
Parking: You may park in the FSU Parking Garage located at the corner of Stadium Drive & Spirit Way, or in the parking lot located across from the track on Spirit Way.
Misc: Wear running shoes and comfortable, breathable running/fitness attire. Bring a water bottle and beach towel/mat for stretching after your run. No valuables at the track please. We are not able to lock them up.
