Firecracker 5k and 1-Mile Fun Run

The Firecracker 5k and 1-mile Sparkler fun run is a family-friendly 5K walk/run held yearly on the 4th of July at Cascades Park in Tallahassee to assist the Capital City Kiwanis Club and the Virtual Kiwanis Club of the Big Bend. This year's 5k is a Grand Prix.

Join us in this exciting event to help us continue to carry out our vital missions! 

 
This year's theme is Life, Liberty, & Pursuit of Miles!

Time/Schedule:

• On-Site Registration begins at 6:30 a.m.
• 1-Mile Fun Run begins at 7:30 a.m.
• 5K Race begins at 8:00 a.m.
• Awards Ceremony to follow at 9:00 a.m. (as results are tabulated)

Cost:
Registration fees accommodate for families by offering discounted fees for children and committed runners and  offering discounts for registration without shirts. Discounts are also offered for sponsors, local fitness group's, Firecracker 5K Training Program Runners, and various clubs. If you're not sure if your group has a discount or if you'd like to discuss receiving a discount for your group, please contact us via the "contact us" form. 

5k Fees
     • Early Bird - $30 through June 19th
     • Registration - $40 through July 1st at 5:00 p.m. and Race Day
     
5k Fees - 12 Years or Younger
All children are at a discounted rate and will receive a t-shirt at no charge.
     • Early Bird - $13 through June 19th
     • Registration - $15 through July 1st at 5:00 p.m. and Race Day  

1-Mile  Fees
     • Early Bird - $25 through June 19th
     • Registration - $35 through July 1st at 5:00 p.m. and Race Day

1-Mile Fees - 12 Years or Under
All children are at a discounted rate and will receive a t-shirt at no charge.

     • Registration - $15 through July 1st at 5:00 p.m. and Race Day
