Girls Support Girls Virtual 5k

All profits from the Girls Support Girls 5k supports our G.E.M.S. program. G.E.M.S. (Girls Empowered and Motivated for School) is a group that mentors 5th-grade girls at Miles Elementary School in Tampa, Florida.  Our mission is to empower 5th-grade girls to become the best versions of themselves by equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary for success. Our G.E.M.S. program focuses on leadership, mental health, confidence, peer relationships, communication skills and so much more.  As a result of the G.E.M.S. program, our girls will have a sense of self-worth, improved peer interactions, leadership and communication skills to ensure success in their transition to middle school.

You can run the virtual 5k or mile run/walk anytime during the month of December and log your completion in Runsignup by 31 December but it is not necessary to get a finisher medal.

If you work at Miles Elementary and would like to participate in a group virtual run, please register by 1 December and check the group virtual run box during registration. We'll have your shirts and medals available at the completion of the event.
