16th Annual Great West Chase

DESCRIPTION: The Great West Chase is a USATF/RRTC nationally certified, chip-timed 10k, 5k, & Children’s Fun Run organized by the World of Westchase to benefit Bellamy Elementary School.
LOCATION: The race will be held in the heart of beautiful Westchase in Northwest Hillsborough County. Start and finish lines for the runs will be located in the West Park Village Town Center. See website for complete route maps. Events will be held rain or shine.
DIRECTIONS: From downtown Tampa (I-275) proceed north on Veterans Expressway to the Linebaugh exit. Proceed west on Linebaugh through the entrance to Westchase at the corner of Sheldon and Linebaugh. Entrances to West Park Village will exist one block east and west of Linebaugh’s intersection with
Montague Street.
RACE REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICKUP: Packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, October 26, from 10am-1pm, 3 – 8 p.m. at The Westchase Recreation Center, 9791 Westchase Drive.
AWARDS: Top 3 M/F Overall, Top Masters and Grand Masters M/F and 3 deep in standard 5 year age groups for the 10K & 5K runs. Top 3 M/F Overall in the Challenge Division, all Challenge participants receive a finisher medal.  All runners will be entered into a raffle for great prizes, including sporting event tickets, gift certificates, and more!
GOODIES: All racers will receive a quality T-shirt and sponsor packet. DriFit tech tees are available with early registration by Sept. 18. Complimentary food and drink will be provided at the finish.  Join us for the best post-race party ever!
