Description
"Igniting the Flame" represents Domestic Violence Awareness and we will always work to reduce domestic violence by educating our community. This flame will burn continuously in our hearts which symbolizes our loved one's death was not in vain.
Enjoy a beautiful course at AL Lopez Park. All registrants receive a race t-shirt, custom race bib, chip timing, finisher medal, quality refreshments, and camaraderie in the Tampa community.

Restoration & Purpose Community Outreach, Inc is designed to collaborate, coordinate, and challenge the community to reduce public health issues, provide resources to individuals, and families, and build strong relationships among our community and families. “Caring and Connecting” are our mission.
This organization also plays an important role in improving and extending service through different outreach activities, such as (1) advocating for public health issues, (2) obtaining resources through partnerships, (3) connecting with the community, and (4) caring for individuals and families.

We will be giving awards to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place men and women in each age group category. Age groups are below.
10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79

*Please bring a photo ID to pick up your packet. You can also pick up other people’s packets with a copy of their ID.
Parking
There will be parking available on site at no charge. Carpooling is encouraged.
Race Day Packet Pickup and Registration
Please arrive at least 45 minutes before the start time of the race if you are picking up your packet. Day-of registration will be available.
Toiletry or Gift Card Donations for Restoration and Purpose Community Outreach
We're asking all participants and spectators to please donate travel-sized personal toiletry items or gift cards on race day. Your donation can help provide much needed support for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and/or homelessness. Please take all donations to the registration area.

8:00 AM - 5K Run/Walk
8:15 AM - 1 Mile Fun Run
9:15 AM Awards/Recognitions Ceremony

We encourage you to invite your friends and family to cheer you on.
Course Route
The 5k course starts with one full lap around the park (blue lap on map), you will pass through the start line again and the complete a second “half” lap (pink lap on map) when you will veer to the left just before the basketball court in the cul-de-sac.
One-mile participants will only complete the one pink colored lap.
***Please note that the trail will be open for regular use, which means that there will be runners and bikers on the trail who are not participating in the race. Keep your eyes and ears open for runners/bikers who may be trying to pass. Example: If someone yells, “On your left!,” you should glance back and step to your right to allow them room to pass.
