Run for the Beaches 5K & Fun Run/Walk

Kick off your morning with a sunrise 5k as the early morning low tide exposes the wide, hard-packed shoreline of Treasure Island’s beautiful beaches —perfect for running or walking!

For competitive runners and walkers, the 5K is chip-timed. For a slower pace grab some friends and family for the 1-mile Fun Run or Walk—a great way to soak in the sea air and enjoy the soothing sound of the waves.  Little ones can burn off their morning energy in the 100-meter Turtle Dash—a fun and fast sprint just for kids!

After crossing the finish line, stick around for an awesome after-party! Dance and enjoy live music by NoFilter, sip on cold beer and seltzers, and celebrate with awards and raffles.

New this year: A Taste of Treasure Island! Local restaurants will be serving up delicious bites to help reenergize our runners and walkers.

Plenty of fun activities for the kids, including sea oat planting with Stacy and games with Keep Pinellas Beautiful.

Proceeds from the event support our Gulf beaches' ecosystem through environmental and educational initiatives, as well as local nonprofits dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating seabirds and marine life, and organizing beach cleanups.
