Pirate Fest 5k Canceled

Due to unforeseen circumstances the race will be postponed to later in the year 2019. The social team apologize to all those who have already registered! Thank you for understanding!

Riverhills Social Team

Pirate’s will invade Riverhills Parkway January 12, 2019 at 8:00 am! 5k starts at 8:00 am please stop by registration at 7:00a to pick up your packet and prepare for race! There will also be a 200 yard dash for kids beginning at 9am the same day! Come dressed in your favorite Pirate attire and prepare for the kick off of Gasparilla Celebrations! There will be a costume contest for the best Pirate attire with prizes! $100 for 1st place, $75 for 2nd place, and $50 for 3rd place. This race is for Riverhills Residents only. It is not open to the public as there is no way for them to get through the guard station. 

We are collecting donations for Special Operations Warrior Foundation. This foundation collects donations to ensure full financial assistance for post-secondary scholarships for every child whose special operations parent loses their life in the line of duty. We are proud to support Special Operations Warrior Foundation. 

You may run, run/walk, or stroller stride the 5k. There will be a time limit of 1 hour to complete the race. 

There will be a bounce house and Free beer for the participants, as well as fruit and some breakfast food.
