Our 5K Autism Timed Run/Walk

Pre-registration for this event is SOLD OUT.  We will have registration open on the day of the event for those that would like to participate.  We will have a bib with a timing chip and participants who sign up on the day of the event will get their individual chip time and be eligible for awards.  However, anyone signing up on the day of the event may not get a shirt or finisher medal.

The Wildwood Police Department presents Our 5K Autism Timed Run/Walk.  This is a family friendly event and benefits the Jack & Allie Foundation, a non profit through ABELS Learning Academy for Autism.  Everyone is welcome from competitive runners to walkers.

RAFFLE after 5K Race:
Join us after the 5K race awards to participate in our Raffle Giveaway.  All participants with a registered bib are automatically entered into the Raffle.  Participants must be present to win.  Below is a list of items that will be raffled off after the awards are handed out:

Youth Registration: (ages 17 and Under)

Timing and Scoring:
This fun run will be chip timed.  All registered runners will receive individual times.  Times will also be posted on the results board onsite as well as live results online.

Finisher Medals:
All participants will receive a finisher medal.

T-Shirts:
All runners registered by Monday, April 1st will be guaranteed their requested shirt size.  We will do our best to accommodate anyone registering after Monday, April 1st to get their requested shirt size, however shirt sizes may limited.

AWARDS:
We will have awards for the overall male and female winner and for the top three male and female winners in each of the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+.

Pre Race Packet Pick Up:
Packet pick up will be from 8:00am until 5:30pm on April 19, 2024, the day before the race.  The location will be at Wildwood Recreation Center office area located in the back of the building through the double doors.  The address is 6500 Powell Rd, Wildwood, FL 34785.  Runners are strongly encouraged to pick up their race packets early to avoid long lines on the day of the event.

Whoever doesn't pick up their packet early can do it from 7:15 am to 8:30 am the day of the event.  We start the race at 9:00 am.

Everyone is Welcome:
This is an event for ALL levels to participate.  Runners, Walkers, and strollers and baby joggers are all welcome.

This event helps raise funds for the Jack & Allie Foundation, a non profit through ABELS Learning Academy for Autism.
