Please remain socially distant when participating in the Santa's Run for Our Kids 10k, 5k and Kids Run Event. Your understanding adherence to the CDC Local and State Guidelines will help ensure we can continue to hold races like this in the future.

There is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and persons with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. If you choose to participate in the Santa's Run for Our Kids 10k, 5k and Kids Run, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

This live event will be conducted within guidelines established by CDC, state & local governments and subject to change. We are aware that the COVID-19 situation is continuing to evolve. Should guidance change and the live event not be allowed to take place as planned, we are ready to make necessary changes to follow by the revised guidelines, including rescheduling or changing to a virtual event if needed.

SHIRTS

10k and 5k Shirts will be guaranteed if pre-registered before December 1, 2020, After that the shirts will be available on a first come first serve basis based on availability. Some shirts sizes will not be available on race day. All kids in the Fun Run will receive shirts.

AWARDS

10k and 5k Awards will be presented to the Overall male and female and top 3 finishers male and female in each age group. Divisions begin with 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 and over. No duplicate awards. Please Check Kiosks after your run to assure your name/time/results are showing up correctly on race day before you leave the area. Awards will be given out after each race. (Awards can be arranged to be mailed at an addition fee for shipping and handling)

The Kids Run Awards will be given to the top 2 boys and girls in each division.

FINISHER MEDALS & RIBBONS

Finisher medals will be given to the top 150 participants in each 10k and 5k race. All kids fun run participants will receive finisher medals as well.

EARLY RACE PACKET PICKUP - 12.18.20 - Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce - Downtown Winter Haven - 4-8PM

DAY OF RACE - 12.19.20 - Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce - Downtown Winter Haven - Starting 6AM

Due to COVID requirements, it might be necessary to start off in waves. We are asking that you enter an estimated finish time for the 10k and 5k. this will help us gather and organize on race morning. This is an honor system and will help with the flow and keep us organized based on COVID requirements. The race director and timer will have the right to cross check at random your estimated finish time based year results in the Athlinks system. All times will be based on Chip Time and when your chip crosses the mat.

On race morning, please align in the 10k, 5k and Fun Run wave you are assigned. The race director and timer have the right to combine or expand corrals and waves to accommodate CDC Local and state guidelines. If you miss starting with your assigned wave, you will be allowed to join in the next wave that has available space.

The race will start promptly at designated times. Please be in your corral 10 min prior to race start time. Each wave will go off approx 1 min after the prior wave.

Kids Fun Run races. Parents, please talk to your child prior to race day about the need to be socially distant. that mean if they are close enough to touch another child that is not a family member, they are too close! Your child will be disqualified and or pulled from the race if they touch or push another child.
