Description

We are excited to host Action Church’s very first 5K! Action Church is one church with three locations with a passion to reach people. Through our volunteers and hundreds of partnerships in Central Florida, across the country, and around the world, we are able to meet practical needs of individuals and families every week. All proceeds from this family friendly run/walk 5K will directly benefit local, national, and international missions efforts of Action Church. All participants will be chip timed and receive a custom finisher medal and t-shirt, and age group awards will be provided.

DAY OF EVENT SCHEDULE:
6:30AM - Registration & Packet Pick up Opens
8AM - 5K Race Start
8:45AM - Kids Run
9AM - Awards Ceremony

T-SHIRTS
Shirts are guaranteed for all pre-registered participants before May 30th. Shirts are not
guaranteed on race day.

FINISHER MEDAL
All participants receive a finisher medal

AWARDS
Awards will be provided to the top 3 Males and Top 3 Females and top 3 males and females in the following age groups: include 6 & under, 7-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90+

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICK-UP
Packet Pickup will be available at Action Church, 1485 Grand Road, Winter Park, FL on Friday June 14th from 4PM to 6PM.

DAY OF REGISTRATION & PACKET PICK UP
Packet Pickup will also be available on race day at Central Winds Park from 6:45AM to 7:30AM.

PARKING
Parking is plentiful next to the race start location. The race will start and end at the same location.

TIMING & SCORING
Race will be timed and scored with a disposable chip provided, which will be attached
to the back of the bib.

FAQ
How will I receive my results?
Official results will be posted at the event for the top runners in each category. Race
staff will have all results for on-site inquiries and results are posted on the race
website.

Can I use my own race chip or tag rather than utilizing the one that is provided?
No, you will be provided with a custom chip.

Who gets a T-shirt?
Only pre-registered runners that successfully complete the registration and payment
processes seven weekdays before the race are guaranteed a race t-shirt. All
registrations and walk ups after this point will receive a shirt while supplies last.

Can I participate in the event with my dog?
Yes, but you must start in the back and not impede runners.

Can I participate with a stroller?
Yes, but you must start in the back and not impede runners.

Should I bring my own water?
Yes, but there will be a water station on the course as well as at the finish.

If I can’t make it, can I receive a refund?
We are unable to issue refunds for this event.

Can I transfer my entry to someone else?
We have a strict no transfer policy for this event.

Will the race be held if it's raining?
The race is a "rain or shine" event unless there is active lightning in the area.
