Nathan Benderson Park Conservancy

The mission of the Nathan Benderson Park Conservancy is to manage and promote Nathan Benderson Park as a world-class recreational destination, enhancing the quality of life for our community and generating economic impact for our region.

Sarasota County has entrusted the Nathan Benderson Park Conservancy with the complete day-to-day care of this 550-acre community asset. As the stewards of the Park, the Conservancy tends to the complex maintenance, visitor services, event management, outreach programs and so much more.

The Big Bill Foundation

The Big Bill Foundation was created with a mission to provide secondary education scholarships in the amount of $5,000 each to students who have survived, or are currently battling, childhood cancer. Whether it’s college, vocational training, or specialized courses, the Big Bill Foundation strives to ensure that financial constraints do not hinder the aspirations of these incredible young warriors.
