Event Location

The Friendship 5K will be taking place in Brook Run Park, located at: 4770 N Peachtree Rd, Dunwoody, GA, For your convenience, here are the location links to the exact spots of the event:

 

Parking

Please see below for a parking map. 

Parking will be available in the Brook Run Park parking lots listed above in the blue square. Once these parking lots are full, overflow parking will be available at Peachtree Middle School parking lot. For your convenience, here are direct links: 

Event Schedule

12-1:00 PM Packet Pick Up* for 5K + 1 Mile Participants 
1:00 PM* Race Packet Pick up will close- Please make sure to come before 1 PM to receive your t-shirt and jersey/bib. 
1:00 PM* Starting Line Ceremony
1:15 PM* Participants will line up by starting line
1:30 PM* 5K participants will begin their race, followed by the 1 Mile participants
2:00 PM Finish line celebrations will take place as we welcome and celebrate our 5K and 1 Mile finishers 
2:30 PM Friendship Festival will begin with fun for all ages and abilities!
* Please note timing will be followed promptly. Your punctuality is appreciated.

 

Participant Packet Pick Up 

Whether you are participating in the 1 Mile or 5K option, all participants will need to pick up their packets from the registration table upon arrival. Your packet will include: 

  • A race jersey, your bib and safety pins (for 5K Participants)
  • An #AsYouAre t-shirt (for 1 Mile Participants)
  • A Friendship Circle beanie
  • An entry bracelet 

Your packet will be ready for you, with your name on it.
5K Participants, please note: since the jerseys run very small, your jersey will be sized up from the size you selected.

Please remember that packet pick up will close at 1 PM to allow for an on-time start of the kickoff. If you are not able to make it to the packet pick up before 1 PM, please ask a friend to pick up your packet for you.

 

1 Mile/5K Route

All 5K and 1 Mile participants will start off at the same starting line. The 1 Mile participants will begin first, followed by the 5K participants. The finish line for participants will be at the same location for both participants. 5K participants will receive a bib which will track the timing of their race.

Whether you join the 1 Mile or 5K option, you can run, walk, or roll– The most important thing is to show up As You Are!

 

Safety Protocol 

The Friendship 5K & Festival will have a police presence on site. All attendees (adults and children) will be required to wear the blue silicone bracelet received upon check-in for security measures. 

 

Show Up #AsYouAre

While online registration will close on Thursday, November 7th, you can still sign up - even on the morning of the event (in-person only!) Here's how: 

  • Friendship 5K/1 Mile- visit the "walk-in" table when you arrive. Please note: 
    • Registration is free for 1 Mile participants and costs $360 for 5K participants
    • T-shirts, beanies, and jerseys will be based on availability. 
  • Friendship Festival- visit the registration table upon arrival and fill out a quick registration form. Please note: 
    • Registration is free! 
    • You will receive a bracelet which will allow you access to all festival festivities. 
    • T-shirts and beanies will be based on availability.

Entrance to the festival is 100% free. Still, you will need to either pre-register or fill out a quick registration form once you arrive.
