Course Maps and Start Points

Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to enjoy a relatively flat/fast 1 and 2 mile course.
Both courses are USATF* certified (1 Mile - TN16035MS, 2 Mile - TN16036MS).
View maps for the 1-Mile and 2-Mile courses.
***Please note that because both distances are point to point races, they will not be eligible for a USATF record.

1-Mile & 2-Mile races have different starting lines; once you arrive at the Start Area, look for the appropriate event flags for race staging.
2-Mile start will be on S Campbell St Rd, a short walking distance towards Brooklawn St. (towards Kroger)
1-Mile start will be on S Campbell St Rd, right in front of the start area.

Parking:

This is a point to point race, so plan your parking strategy to accommodate your needs. There are NO shuttles to transport anyone before or after the race. With thousands of people arriving for the Independence Day Parade and the Freedom Run, we recommend arriving by 8:00 am.

Start Area - front of Citizens Bank, 100 S. Campbell Station Rd, Farragut, TN 37934

Available parking: Farragut Town Hall, the Post Office, or ORNL Federal Credit Union, Kroger area, etc. If you park at the start, remember that you will have to walk back to your car after the race.

Finish Area  - front of Admiral Dental Care, 11807 Kingston Pike, Farragut, TN 37934

Available parking: Ingles shopping center and other centers west of Ingles.

Traveling from the start to finish or finish to the start after 8:30 am can be difficult and somewhat circuitous because of the various road closures and spectators.

Road Closures

Please note Kingston Pike will be closed from Concord Road (past the start) to Boring Road (past the finish) from 8:30 am to approximately noon when the parade is finished. For information on detours, please visit the Town of Farragut website.
Traffic West of Brooklawn Rd (entrance to Kroger from S. Campbell Station Rd) will be very limited (local traffic) between 7:30-8:30 am and stopped after 8:30 am to allow for staging of the race starts.
