Activitynut Foundation hosts several local events in the Central Valley at Woodward park, Millerton Lake, Huntington Lake and Shaver Lake. Our mission is developing an active and healthy community by connecting people with events, coaching, training, and local stores.
Host a hospitality tent at one of 6 Exchange Points. These are locations where vans meet and alternate every six legs. Each team has two vans of 6 runners. While Van #1 is running, Van #2 will arrive at an exchange point where they hang out with fellow runners, rest, and prepare for their running legs. Once Van #1 arrives, the team may hang out for a while recuperating from the run. Although the teams are self contained and have the food and beverages they need for the trip, this is a great opportunity to provide additional support for the teams though extra beverages, snacks, music, and promotional materials.
Host a hospitality tent at one of 30 Relay Points. These are locations where runners rotate. It does not include the locations where two vans from the same team meet. One of two vans for each of the teams goes past each of the relay points. Typically a van of 5 runners will be waiting for their 6th runner to reach the relay point, and may stay for a bit after the runner comes in and another runner leaves.
