Now in its eleventh year, Feeding South Florida's Outrun Hunger 5K is an opportunity to "take steps" to make a difference for those experiencing food insecurity in Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties.
This year, we’re returning IN PERSON to our scenic site on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. Join us to run or walk this timed 5K course overlooking the water!

Early-Bird Registration: $25 until January 15, 2022
Regular Registration: $35 until April 1, 2022
Event-Day Registration: $40
Student Ticket: $20
UPDATE: As of March 30, 2022, we are offering a reduced general registration amount of $25, or $20 for students. This registration does not include an event t-shirt or finisher medal. You will receive the bib and timing chip.
Groups of ten or more receive a 10% discount.
Awards
1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place awards will be given in every age category, plus the overall winners.

Feeding South Florida's Outrun Hunger 5K is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of over 700,000 South Floridians who do not know where they will receive their next meal.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, food insecurity was visible across our service area of Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe counties as older adults, parents, and children visited drive-thru food distribution to provide meals for their families. As food insecurity becomes less visible in public spaces, 1 in 8 individuals in South Florida remain uncertain about where their next meal will come from.
As we have for over forty years, Feeding South Florida will continue serving South Floridians at our Community Caring Centers, via our Home Delivery Programs and Mobile FARMacy, and through our network of 500 community partners.
Your participation in the Outrun Hunger 5K enables us to continue these programs and make a greater impact for individuals and families in South Florida.
