FAQs
Packet pick-up information
Packet pick-up opens at 5:30 PM race day. At Princeton Fire Department Station 1 (501 Dr. Donnie H. Jones jr. Blvd Princeton, NC 27569). Race will start and finish at the same location.
Parking
Parking will be behind the fire house with overflow in the lot across Barden St behind the church.
Are dogs allowed?
Friendly dogs are allowed at the owner's risk. This is an open race so there will be vehicle traffic, and the race takes place after dark.
Are strollers allowed?
This race is a family event, but be mindful that this is an open track so there will be traffic at some points and this is a night race. We will have some entertainment for kids during the race however we do ask that you do not leave your children without a guardian at anytime. Princeton Fire Department is not responsible for unattended children due to still being in service during the race and potentially needing to answer calls for service in our community.
Will there be lighting provided?
We are sourcing light towers to light up the darker portions of the track as best we can. We will provide glow sticks and some reflective gear to be worn during the race. Runners are encouraged to bring anything they feel will make them as highly visible as they feel is needed during the race.
Course Details
We will continue to use the same course we have for the last 16 years! We will also have fire apparatus and firefighters staged at various parts of the track to provide light, traffic control, and directions as needed.
Extra Shirts
If you register BEFORE September 30th, you will be guaranteed a shirt. We will order a small number of extras but they will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. We will also have a small number of shirts from last year's race available at a discounted price. We will be selling the 2026 PVFD Cancer Fundraiser shirts at this event as well.
