Race Course
Course Description:
All three race distances (5k, 10k, and 15k) will be staged on the beautiful grounds of Cedar Lake Cellars. The terrain isn’t typical for a GO! St. Louis race - we will be off the paved roads for this event and using the farmlands and paths of CLC’s 42-acre property. But don’t worry, this won’t be a single-track (hiking trail type terrain) trail race. Think cross-country course type terrain: grassy fields, graded paths through the woods, not 100% even ground, but definitely free of big roots & rocks, and most of all...beautiful!
Course Conditions:
Our partners at Cedar Lake Cellars have maintained their path system through the property and will be coming through pre-event to clear leaves, sticks and other debris. While you will be running on grass and packed dirt, it will be landscaped and manicured beautifully for race day. If these types of paths aren't something you are used to running on, try running on the grass next to your current favorite running path to see the difference. While it isn't as solid as pavement, it's is most definitely a LOT nicer on the joints!
Course maps and course video coming soon...but for now, enjoy the beautiful photos of running through Cedar Lake Cellars!
