March 8 = 10am-3pm at the Lawrence Fleet Feet store (839 Massachusetts St., Lawence, KS 66044)

March 9 = 7:00-8:00am at the Lawrence Rotary Arboretum (5100 W. 27th St., Lawrence, KS 66047)

Race Start Times

5 mile race = 8:30AM

1 mile walk/fun run = 8:40AM

Race Location & Parking

The race will start & finish at the Lawrence Rotary Arboretum (5100 W. 27th St., Lawrence, KS 66047).

Park at the Lawrence Youth Sports Complex across the street (4911 W. 27th St., Lawrence, KS 66047).

*Please note: Due to only 1 road leading into the Youth Sports Complex, please arrive by 7:30AM to avoid a traffic jam.

There are restrooms at the Youth Sports Complex and we’ll also have portable restrooms at the Arboretum.

Race Description and Course Maps

The 5 mile course is a flat & fast route that takes in the super scenic Lawrence Rotary Arboretum and Paved Trail leading to the Clinton Lake Dam. We’ll start on the road for a quarter mile before getting on the wide sidewalk trail that goes around the Arboretum lakes and water fountains and then get on the wide paved trail leading to the dam. At the 2.5 mile mark, we’ll turn around to head back on this out & back course.

The 1 mile family fun run/walk course takes in the most scenic parts of the Arboretum. We’ll start on the road for a quarter mile before getting on the wide sidewalk trail that goes around the Arboretum lakes and water fountains and then take a short cut back to the finish. Super flat and super scenic!
