CREATE A TEAM AND BEGIN FUNDRAISING
- Click ‘Register’ in yellow at the top left corner of the screen on our race website.
- Fill in all of the participant information and choose which event you’d like to partake in.
- At the bottom of the page, it will ask you ‘Would you like to join or create a team?’ click ‘yes’ !
- The next screen will be a waiver, you can sign it by typing in the participants full name.
- Choose ‘Create a new running team’ on the right hand side of the page.
- Decide on your team name! This can be anything you decide on.
*If you are an angel parent, we encourage you to include your baby’s name in it as a way of honoring him/her (ex: Team Madeline, Onward for Oaklee, Kaleb’s Krewe, etc) - If you’d like to raise money as a team, click ‘Become A Fundraiser’. All money raised by teams goes directly back to the furthering of Maddie’s Footprints - Greater Baton Rouge mission of helping Baton Rouge Families to cope with miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss.
- SCROLL DOWN TO THE TEAM FUNDRAISER SECTION
- Under Create a Team Fundraiser, make sure the slide bar reads ‘yes’.
- Verify that your Team Fundraiser Name matches you Running Team Name.
- Make sure you choose the option to ‘Associate Team Fundraiser with Running Team’. This ensures that your team is not duplicated.
- Choose a fundraising goal that is attainable but also remember it is a goal! Your donors will look at this as a tool to determine how much they should donate.
- Fill in the rest of the information with what you’d like your donors and team members to see.
- If you’d like to purchase a tribute sign or wristband (wristbands are for those who may want to participate in the after-race activities without running/walking the race.)
- Share with us the way which you would like your race results.
- Finalize your registration and the creation of your team by checking out!
